Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has refused to rule out the possibility of Roberto Mancini returning to the club as coach.
Mancini was sacked by Manchester City just over a week ago and with current Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni's position understood to be perilous the Milan side have been strongly linked with a move for their former boss.
Moratti said that while Mancini was possible, there would be no move for Walter Mazzarri.
"Mancini as a possibility? Everything is possible in football," Football Italia quotes Moratti as saying.
"The signing of Mazzarri? That has no truth to it. This rumour is probably circulating, but it's not true. There is nothing to announce [regarding Stramaccioni]."
Inter finished a disappointing ninth in Serie A this season.
