Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy will reportedly allow Michael Chopra and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas to leave the club this summer.

Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy is reportedly prepared to relinquish the services of Michael Chopra and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas this summer.

Chopra, whose two seasons at Portman Road have been dominated by off-pitch incidents, was a spectator alongside Emmanuel-Thomas for the Tractor Boys' 2-0 defeat to Burnley on the final day of the Championship campaign.

It is understood that McCarthy has informed the duo that they will be booted out of the club if acceptable offers are tabled during the summer transfer window, according to the East Anglian Daily Times.

Reports have also claimed that Andy Drury and Arran Lee-Barrett will be released.
