Juventus are reportedly ready to hand a new contract to veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.
Despite turning 42 years of age in January, Buffon has been provided with 10 starts in all competitions during the current campaign.
Juventus had been expected to allow Buffon to leave the club at the expiration of his existing deal and opt for a younger alternative on the substitutes' bench.
However, according to Goal, the Serie A champions are prepared to keep the club legend in their first-team ranks for another 12 months.
The report adds that club officials also want to reach agreements with defender Giorgio Chiellini and midfielder Blaise Matuidi.
