Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham has revealed that he misses playing in the Champions League.

The 37-year-old, who will depart LA Galaxy after the MLS Cup final, has been strongly linked with a move to Monaco. However, the former England captain has admitted that it would be "nice" if he could play in the Champions League one more time.

Beckham told reporters: "I always loved it when I went back to AC Milan being back in the Champions League.

"I still miss playing in it, they are the games you love playing in. Of course I'd want to play in it again.

"We'll see where I go next. If it's a team that's in the Champions League then it will be nice to be back."

Beckham has also played in the Champions League for Manchester United and Real Madrid.
