Houston Dynamo have taken three points from their trip to face Los Angeles Galaxy thanks to Andrew Driver's 56th-minute strike at the Home Depot Centre.

The on-loan Hearts winger fired beyond Carlo Cudicini after he was found on the edge of the box by former Derby County youngster Giles Barnes.

Galaxy dominated possession over the 90 minutes, but both teams had a number of opportunities to score.
