David Beckham 'close to Paris Saint-Germain deal'

David Beckham is close to signing an 18-month-deal with Paris Saint-Germain.

The former England captain would be paid £160,000 per week to join the Ligue 1 side, according to The Sun.

However, Beckham is still thought to be considering putting pen to paper on an extension with current club Los Angeles Galaxy.

The 36-year-old's contract with the MLS side expires on Saturday.

Former Chelsea and AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti is expected to be unveiled as the PSG's new coach in the next 48 hours.
