Half-Time Report: Kalvin Phillips scores leveller on home debut for Leeds United

Kalvin Phillips equalises for Leeds United after Sean Morrison opens the scoring for Cardiff City in their Championship clash at Elland Road.

Leeds United and Cardiff City are level at half time in their Championship clash at Elland Road this afternoon.

Cardiff began the game brightly, with both Craig Noone and Joe Mason having shots blocked in the opening minutes.

Sean Morrison opened the scoring for the Bluebirds, slotting home at the back post following Peter Whittingham's corner.

Just three minutes later, Kalvin Phillips scored his first goal for Leeds on his home debut, tapping in after Charlie Taylor's cross.

Cardiff were forced into a change before half time, with Eoin Doyle replacing Conor McAleny after the striker went off injured.
