Red Bull has denied claims that it is on the verge of purchasing Championship outfit Leeds United, insisting that the corporation is not looking to make any more football-related investments.
It had been stated by Leeds owner Massimo Cellino - currently suspended following a tax evasion conviction - that the sports drinks company was looking to buy the Yorkshire club for £60m in the next three weeks.
However, this claim has been refuted by the corporation's head of global football marketing, Oliver Mintzlaff, who told German newspaper Suddeutsche Zeitung on Sunday: "Another involvement in football is not planned."
Red Bull already runs professional clubs in Germany, Austria and the United States.
