Middlesbrough have reportedly made a third bid for Leeds United striker Ross McCormack.
After having an initial £1m offer turned down, Middlesbrough's next reported bid was also dismissed by Leeds last week.
Boro have not given up hope yet and, according to the Evening Gazette, have raised their offer to £1.5m for the Scottish frontman.
The 27-year-old is said to be happy at Elland Road and is already leading their scoring charts this season with two goals in three games.
