El Hadji Diouf's agent Willie Mackay has revealed that his client would like to stay at Elland Road if Leeds United will improve his contract terms.
The Senegalese striker has scored four goals in 13 games since he was signed by manager Neil Warnock on a short-term contract, but after Leeds failed to significantly increase his wage in their new contract offer, Diouf could soon leave the Championship club.
Mackay told the Daily Mail: "Dioufy loves it at Leeds.
"He took a massive wage cut to join and was hoping something could be resolved down the line that reflects his performances."
Leeds are currently in 11th place in the Championship table and reached the quarter-finals of the Capital One Cup in midweek after they beat Southampton 3-0.
