Ronald Koeman has confirmed that Southampton are close to signing Celtic's Fraser Forster after the goalkeeper underwent a medical at the club.
The England international, who has spent the past four years playing for the Hoops, is expected to complete his switch for a fee in the region of £10m in the coming days.
"Of course we are interested, of course he did the medical tests," the Daily Echo quotes Koeman as saying. "For sure we are interested, but I didn't hear he has signed."
The Southampton boss also revealed that the Premier League outfit have had a bid turned down for Leeds United right-back Sam Byram.
