Team News: Leeds United missing Sam Byram for Watford clash

Alex Mowatt replaces the injured Sam Byram for Leeds United as they face Watford at Vicarage Road.

Leeds United right-back Sam Byram will miss the Championship clash with Watford with a hamstring injury as the club look to turn around a faltering campaign that has produced just one win in 11 games.

Byram's place goes to Alex Mowatt, but manager Brian McDermott must also do without winger Jimmy Kebe (hamstring).

Meanwhile, Watford boss Giuseppe Sannino must deal with a raft of injuries, with Fernando Forestieri, Fitz Hall, Lloyd Doyley and Cristian Battocchio all sidelined for the Hornets.

Troy Deeney will lead the line for the hosts at Vicarage Road where a win will likely pull the Hertfordshire club closer to the battle for a playoff place.

Watford: Almunia, Angella, Cassetti, Ekstrand, Faraoni, Murray, Tozser, Abdi, Riera, Anya, Deeney

Leeds United: Butland, Wootton, Lees, Pearce, Warnock, Brown, Tonge, Mowatt, Poleon, McCormack, Hunt
