Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing Burnley defender Connor Roberts on a permanent deal during the summer transfer window.
Currently on loan from the Premier League Clarets at Elland Road, the Welshman has featured in eight Championship matches, providing two goal contributions.
Since making the switch to Yorkshire, though, Roberts has started just one second-tier fixture for Daniel Farke's side, being kept out of the XI by 18-year-old Archie Gray.
Nevertheless, the right-back has helped his loan club to the top of the Championship standings, sitting one point ahead of third-placed Ipswich Town.
According to TEAMtalk, Leeds have drawn up their transfer strategies concerning a number of loan players ahead of the summer trading point.

The report claims that the Whites are keen to retain the services of Roberts, who is currently on a six-month loan from Vincent Kompany's Clarets.
It is understood that Farke's side would like to enter negotiations with Burnley in the coming months with a view to making the 28-year-old's move to Elland Road permanent ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.
The Yorkshire club are short on options at right-back following the termination of Djed Spence's temporary deal from Tottenham Hotspur in January.
Looking for regular game time, veteran full-back Luke Ayling also departed Farke's ranks in the winter, moving to Michael Carrick's Middlesbrough on loan.
Although England Under-21 international Gray has excelled in defence for Leeds this term, the youngster is primarily a midfielder, meaning that the Whites are in the market for reinforcements at right-back.

Despite featuring in 50 games across all competitions last season as Burnley secured the Championship title, Roberts played second fiddle to Brazilian Vitinho at Turf Moor during the opening months of the current term.
The former Swansea City man remains a key figure for Rob Page's Wales, though, and is set to start in Tuesday night's Euro 2024 playoff final versus Poland at the Cardiff City Stadium.
It is also believed that Leeds are desperate to secure the services of Joe Rodon for next season, with the Welshman on loan from Tottenham.
Playing alongside compatriot Ethan Ampadu at the heart of the United backline since Pascal Struijk sustained an injury, Rodon has helped his side to remain unbeaten during the opening three months of 2024 in the Championship.
