Report: Leeds United interested in AZ captain Teun Koopmeiners

Leeds United are looking to make one more signing this summer and could turn to AZ midfielder Teun Koopmeiners, according to a report.

The 22-year-old plays predominantly as a defensive midfielder and has spent his entire senior career with the Dutch club.

According to The Telegraph, Bielsa is keen on adding one more midfielder to his squad this window and Koopmeiners has caught his eye.

The report indicates that the Netherlands Under-21s international, previously a target for Everton and Arsenal, is available for around £10m.

Leeds have made seven signings so far this summer, including big-money deals for striker Rodrigo and defender Diego Llorente.
