Neil Warnock has moved to clear up the speculation that has recently surrounded Luciano Becchio's situation at Leeds United.
The Argentine striker was left out of the squad that defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 in the FA Cup earlier today after he had seen a transfer request rejected by the club.
Becchio's desire to vacate Elland Road has since resulted in speculation that a handful of clubs had submitted bids for the 29-year-old.
Discussing the situation, Warnock told reporters that Leeds had received "two or three offers" from teams overseas, while there had been "one or two" sides in England that had made contact regarding Becchio's availability.
Despite Becchio's apparent determination to leave, Leeds are said to have offered him a new contract.
