Brendan Rodgers has admitted that he is not sure what the Europa Conference League actually is after Leicester City dropped down to the competition.

Brendan Rodgers has confessed that he does not know exactly what the Europa Conference League is.

Leicester City were knocked out of the Europa League this week after their defeat against Napoli, with the Foxes being beaten 3-2 on the night.

However, their journey will now continue in the new Conference League which they have dropped down into, but Rodgers is not familiar with the setup for that.

"I was focused on the Europa League so with all due respect to the competition, I'm not sure what it is," the Foxes boss told BT Sport.

Leicester City must now compete in a play-off round next year, in February in order to enter the Europa Conference League.
