Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel admits that his side are "disappointed" to have only come away with a point from their 2-2 draw with Stoke City.

Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has admitted that his side are "disappointed" to have only come away with a point from their Premier League trip to face Stoke City this afternoon.

The Foxes led twice at the bet365 Stadium, but on both occasions they allowed Stoke back into the match at the Potters ultimately earned a share of the spoils.

Leicester have now picked up four points from Claude Puel's two matches in charge, but Schmeichel revealed that the players are still adapting to the Frenchman's style.

"On reflection we are a bit disappointed, we should have put the game to bed in the first half, fair play to Stoke they dug in. We are slightly disappointed, but will have to take it," he told reporters.

"Getting a new manager, new methods, your daily routine changes and we are still getting used it, still adapting.

"I always had faith in the boys, we had a tough start to the season, but with the talent we have, we should do well."

The draw was enough to temporarily take Leicester into the top half of the Premier League table.
