Leicester City have reportedly agreed a fee with Wigan Athletic for the transfer of Shaun Maloney.
The 31-year-old is said to have been courted by several Premier League clubs, but Leicester have won the race and will secure him on a long-term deal.
The Foxes will pay in excess of £1m to land the Scot from the Latics, according to Goal.com.
Scotland international Maloney has been a Wigan player for three-and-a-half years after leaving Celtic for the DW Stadium.
This season he has made 19 appearances in the Championship for the struggling Latics, who are in 23rd in the Championship, five points from safety.
