Claudio Ranieri rules out Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez January exits

Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez will not be departing Leicester City next month, according to manager Claudio Ranieri.

Claudio Ranieri has insisted that neither Jamie Vardy nor Riyad Mahrez will leave Leicester City during the January transfer window.

Between them Vardy and Mahrez have scored 26 goals this season, which is more than 81 of the 98 teams in Europe's top five leagues.

As a result of their form, the pair have been linked with moves away from the King Power Stadium next month, but Ranieri has stressed that no offers will be accepted.

"No-one can buy Vardy or Mahrez in January. They don't have the money and they don't have a price," he told reporters.

The duo both found the net during tonight's 2-1 home victory over Chelsea, which has sent the Foxes back to the top of the Premier League table.
