Leyton Orient boss Ian Hendon not getting carried away by perfect start

Leyton Orient boss Ian Hendon insists that his players are remaining grounded following their perfect start to the season.

Leyton Orient boss Ian Hendon has refused to get carried away by his side's perfect start to the season.

The O's made it three wins out of three in League Two last night by beating Stevenage 3-0 at Brisbane Road.

Despite his team being at the top of the table on goal difference, Hendon insists that there is still a long way to go before the end of the campaign.

"I'm just delighted with the result. It's good to be top but we've got a long, long way to go yet," he told the club's official website. "We're three games in to a 46-game season so our feet are firmly on the ground and we're already looking forward to Saturday."

Leyton Orient will be looking to maintain their 100% start to the season on Saturday when they make the trip to Newport County.
