League Two roundup: Leyton Orient go top with late rally against Stevenage

Leyton Orient win their third straight game with a 3-0 win over Stevenage, while Wycombe Wanderers and Hartlepool United maintain their 100% starts.

Leyton Orient have moved to the top of League Two thanks to a 3-0 win over Teddy Sheringham's Stevenage in League Two tonight.

The East Londoners maintained their 100% record as second-half goals from Jay Simpson, Blair Turgott and Ollie Palmer separated the sides.

Wycombe Wanderers drop to second despite a 1-0 win away at Morecambe, as Aaron Pierre's late strike earned them the three points.

Scott Fenwick scored the winner for Hartlepool United, who also made it three wins from three, at home to Newport County, in a result which keeps the South Wales club near the bottom with just one point so far.

Plymouth Argyle have won for the second time this season with a comprehensive victory over Carlisle United.

The West Country side took the lead just before the break through Jake Jervis, before the floodgates opened in the second half as Reuben Reid, Graham Carey and a second goal from Jervis put them out of sight, and made sure that Carlisle remain winless.

Newly-promoted Barnet won for the first time this season with a 2-0 win over Northampton Town, who finished with 10 men.

John Akinde's penalty put the North Londoners ahead, after Jason Taylor was sent off for the foul, and the tall striker scored his second in injury time.

Oxford United also won their first game of the season as Callum O'Dowda, Kemar Roofe and Danny Hylton scored in a 3-1 win over Notts County. Thierry Audel had given County the lead in the 21st minute.

Two goals in two minutes from Leon Legge and Barry Corr saw Cambridge United come from behind to beat AFC Wimbledon 2-1, after the West Londoners took the lead through Tom Elliott.

Exeter City also won away from home as Ryan Harley and Troy Brown helped them to a 2-1 win away at Dagenham & Redbridge, who scored a late consolation through Jodi Jones.

Stuart Sinclair scored a dramatic 94th-minute winner as Bristol Rovers earned the three points away at Luton Town, while James Berrett scored the only goal at Bootham Crescent as York City beat Yeovil Town.

Accrington Stanley won their first match of the season with a 1-0 win over Mansfield Town courtesy of a Sean McConville strike, while Crawley Town and Portsmouth ended goalless.
