Mario Balotelli: 'I'm ready to prove my genius'

Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli promises that there is "more to come" from him after a subdued start to life at Anfield.

Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has claimed that he is ready to prove his 'genius' after thanking the club's supporters for a banner in his honour.

Fans of the Anfield side recently unveiled a banner that read 'Nothing to declare except my genius' in Italian, in homage to Balotelli, and the former AC Milan forward thanked the supporters for their backing with a post on Instagram.

Balotelli has scored one goal for the Reds so far following his £16m move from AC Milan in August.
