Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren disappointed by draw with Arsenal

Dejan Lovren suggests that Liverpool should have beaten Arsenal following their goalless draw at the Emirates Stadium.

Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren has admitted that he is disappointed by the team's goalless draw with Arsenal.

The Reds saw their 100% start to the new season ended on Monday as they were forced to share the spoils at the Emirates Stadium.

Despite struggling to finish their chances in front of goal, Lovren believes that he and his teammates can be proud of their defensive display in North London.

"I'd say we're disappointed," the Croatian international told the club's official website. "Especially in the first half, we had so many chances. They also had some good chances, but I think we were defensively perfect and everyone did a great job. We need to continue like this and the goals will come."

Liverpool return to Premier League action on Saturday when they host West Ham United at Anfield.
