Divock Origi: 'Christian Benteke has it all'

Divock Origi backs his new Liverpool teammate Christian Benteke to be a success at Anfield.

Liverpool striker Divock Origi has talked up the qualities that he feels Christian Benteke will bring to Anfield.

Benteke finally completed his £32.5m switch from Aston Villa on Wednesday evening on a contract that has been described as "long-term" by the club, and Origi has backed his Belgium international teammate to succeed at Anfield.

Origi told Sky Sports News: "At Belgium, everyone knows his qualities; he's very strong, has a good header, technique and can score goals. He is the modern striker."

Benteke is Liverpool's eighth arrival of the summer following the deals to bring in James Milner, Adam Bogdan, Danny Ings, Nathaniel Clyne, Roberto Firmino, Joe Gomez and Origi.

Brendan Rodgers's side begin their new Premier League campaign with a visit to Stoke City on August 8.
