Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler believes that the Reds should cash in on Luis Suarez if the Uruguayan international wants to leave Anfield.
Rumours regarding the future of the 25-year-old striker have circled following the former Ajax star's eight-match ban for racially abusing Manchester United defender Patrice Evra.
Suarez recently hinted on French television that he could move to Paris Saint-Germain, but Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish was quick to refute the speculation.
"I don't know what's been said but I've been a manager," Fowler told Goal.com. "If any player doesn't want to be there then I think it's better to let him go, whether it's his choice or not.
"It's a tough one. He's a fantastic player but players who come out and start saying stuff like that, maybe it's best if he does go. If he has said it, it's not great.
"I don't know if it's the case that he has actually said it, it's just on hearsay at the minute but I want him to remain a Liverpool player. He's very unpredictable. He will cause any team problems. I hope that continues for a long time."
The Copa America winner has scored ten goals in 27 matches for the Premier League side.
