Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has hit out at the Reds fans who attacked the Manchester City team bus ahead of the Champions League clash between the two teams.
Cans, bottles and flares were hurled at the vehicle during the build-up to the Merseyside outfit's 3-0 win over the Sky Blues, and Klopp has now added his voice to the condemnation of those involved in the incident.
"I have to say apologies again for how things happened before the game," BBC Sport quotes Klopp as saying.
"It's so strange. You go with your own bus through the crowd and it feels fantastic and it's great. It's support, it's passion. We come into the stadium and the first thing I heard was they had smashed the bus of Manchester City and it kills everything
"You can't feel it anymore. You give everyone the opportunity to do something good and because of a few idiots it might never happen again."
Liverpool are in Premier League action this weekend when they take on local rivals Everton at Goodison Park.
