Adam Lallana has been full of praise for Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers by claiming that the Northern Irishman is "brilliant" to work with.
The England international moved to Anfield from Southampton in the summer for a reported £25m fee, but endured a stuttered start to his Reds career due to a pre-season injury.
Since returning to full fitness, the 26-year-old has made 12 appearances for the Reds and believes that Rodgers's "hands-on" approach is beneficial for the players.
"Working for Brendan has been brilliant," Lallana told NBC Sports. "He's a great manager, he's very hands-on, works very much with the players, and his man-management skills are good.
"He even speaks Spanish to a lot of the lads who can't speak English. He's tactically clever and sees things. And he always wants to improve. He's always watching games, looking to tweak things differently. He's a very, very clever manager."
Liverpool have had an inconsistent start to the season and currently sit 11th in the Premier League table after as many games.
