Manuel Pellegrini: 'The title race isn't over'

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini believes that his side still have a chance in the Premier League title race despite their defeat to Liverpool.

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is adamant that his side are not out of the Premier League title race despite their defeat to Liverpool.

City have fallen seven points behind the Reds, but have two games in hand over Brendan Rodgers's side.

Pellegrini told reporters: "If we win our two games in hand we will be a point behind Liverpool, who still have to play Chelsea. The title does not finish today.

"We are still going to fight. A lot of things will happen between now and the end of the season."

City are third in the Premier League with 70 points after 32 games.
