Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Steven Gerrard will play in Saturday's match against Queens Park Rangers after missing their midweek trip to Hull City.
The club captain, who will call time on his 17-year senior career at Liverpool when he joins MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy in the summer, was not in the squad during the Reds' 1-0 defeat at the KC Stadium.
"It was clear, Saturday-Tuesday games were always going to be difficult, but he will be flying for the weekend," Rodgers said in this morning's press conference.
Liverpool are seven points adrift of fourth-placed Manchester United with four games left to play.
