Team News: Mario Balotelli again leads Liverpool line at Hull City

Steven Gerrard drops out of the Liverpool squad in Brendan Rodgers's only change for the trip to Hull City, with Mario Balotelli keeping his place in attack.

Mario Balotelli will make his second start in a row for Liverpool as the Reds take on Hull City in the Premier League this evening.

The Italian has kept his place in Brendan Rodgers's XI, despite failing to find the net against West Bromwich Albion in Saturday's goalless draw.

There is one change in the Reds' lineup, with captain Steven Gerrard dropping out altogether and being replaced in midfield by Joe Allen.

As for hosts Hull, Steve Bruce goes with the same XI that started on Saturday in the 2-0 win at Crystal Palace.

Hull: Harper; Brady, McShane, Dawson, Chester, Elmohamady; Huddlestone, Livermore, Quinn; Aluko, N'Doye
Subs: McGregor, Rosenior, Figueroa, Bruce, Hernandez, Sagbo, Ramirez

Liverpool: Mignolet; Can, Skrtel, Lovren, Johnson; Allen, Henderson; Ibe, Sterling, Coutinho; Balotelli
Subs: Jones, Toure, Lambert, Manquillo, Lallana, Brannagan, Markovic
