Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers: 'We still have work to do'

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers warns that there is still work to do for his side even if they win the Premier League this season.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has insisted that he expects more from his squad, even if they win the Premier League title this season.

The Reds, who sit two points clear of Chelsea at the top of the table, will claim their first league title since 1990 if they win all six of their remaining fixtures this season.

Rodgers has warned that there is still plenty of work to do for the team to reach the levels that he demands.

"We've still got improvements to make," Rodgers told the club's official website. "We're looking to put something in place not just for now and this season. The process started 18 months ago and it's continual.

"For us, our focus and composure and mentality is just to work hard, because there's a process to dreaming. You've got to get the work done, or else it doesn't happen.

"We just narrow our focus onto each game."

Liverpool beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-0 at Anfield on Sunday.
