Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah warns rivals that there is still plenty more to come from him, having already registered the 30th goal of his debut season at the club.

Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has warned rivals that there is still more to come from him following his blistering start to life at the club.

The Egyptian became the quickest player to reach 30 goals for Liverpool in over 100 years with his strike in the midweek Champions League rout of Porto, reaching the landmark just 36 games after joining from Roma last summer.

The feat is the latest in a growing list of records Salah has already amassed during his relatively short time at the club, but he has no plans to slow down anytime soon.

"It is a great feeling to have scored 30 goals in a first season at a club like Liverpool," Salah told the club's official website.

"It's something huge, so I am very happy about it. But I have to carry on and keep looking forward to score many more goals.

"In my mind I am always trying to improve and I'm doing it every single day. Every day I look at myself and try to improve myself all the time. I am happy at the moment, I feel good, and that's the most important thing - and 100%, there is still more to come."

Salah is already just three goals short of equalling Fernando Torres's record of most goals in a debut season for Liverpool since the advent of the Premier League.
