Daniel Sturridge will reportedly return to Liverpool's starting lineup against Tottenham Hotspur this Sunday.

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is reportedly expected to start for the Reds against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

The 23-year-old has been sidelined with a thigh injury in recent weeks, which forced him to miss last weekend's 4-0 rout over Wigan Athletic.

It is understood that Sturridge, who will return to full training today, will be included in manager Brendan Rodgers's squad at Anfield against Spurs, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The Merseyside outfit are currently 10 points adrift of fourth place in the Premier League table.
