Barcelona would reportedly opt to send Cristian Tello to Liverpool should they decide to loan out the winger.
The 22-year-old has struggled to clinch a regular place in the first team of the Catalan giants, which is said to have sparked the interest of Liverpool and AC Milan.
While recent reports have claimed that the Reds are prepared to offer £12m for the player, Barcelona are open to a loan agreement.
According to footballdirectnews.com, the officials at Camp Nou believe that Tello would benefit playing under Brendan Rodgers at Anfield.
Barcelona are permitted to carry out transfers this summer after FIFA suspended the club's year-long ban pending the outcome of an appeal.
