Pepe Reina says that he is staying at Liverpool this summer and will not move to Barcelona.

Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina has insisted that he will not join Barcelona this summer and that he wants to stay at Anfield.

The Spaniard has long been linked with a return to his boyhood club, with the future of Victor Valdes far from certain at the Catalan giants.

However, Reina has once again denied that he will be leaving the Merseyside in favour of a move to Camp Nou.

"I have my own contract with Liverpool for three more years," Reina told Sky Sports News. "Nothing has changed.

"If so, we want to make it bigger and my future is with Liverpool.

"Right now, about Barca, there are only rumours and only people talking about possibilities. There are no facts. I cannot talk further on that."

Reina played 30 times for Barcelona before leaving in 2002.
