Spanish giants Barcelona reportedly offer Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum a three-year contract to join the club this summer.

Spanish giants Barcelona have reportedly offered Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum a three-year contract to join the club this summer.

The Dutch international will see his current deal with the Reds expires at the end of this season and he has been heavily linked with a move to the Catalan club.

Mundo Deportivo reports that Barcelona are willing to offer the 30-year-old a salary worth around £8m per season over a three-year period.

Wijnaldum is keen to seek a fresh challenge and would be interested in working under compatriot Ronald Koeman as well as to play in Spain.

Serie A leaders Inter Milan have also expressed an interest in the midfielder, however it is believed that Barcelona is Wijnaldum's first choice if he is to leave Liverpool this summer.

Wijnaldum, who has won the Premier League and Champions League with Liverpool, has made 40 appearances in all competitions so far this campaign, scoring three goals.
