Barcelona have reportedly won the race to sign Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt.
The 19-year-old has emerged as one of the biggest prospects in European football, with 67 appearances having already been made for Ajax in all competitions.
A number of Premier League clubs - including Liverpool - have been frequently linked with an approach for the player, but according to The Mirror, Barcelona look likely to secure a deal for the youngster.
The report says that scouts from the Catalan giants were present to watch De Ligt help the Netherlands defeat France earlier this week, and it has only increased the possibility of the La Liga side moving to push through a deal.
Barcelona currently sit at the top of Spain's top flight, but 18 goals have been conceded in 12 matches and the club also require a long-term replacement for Gerard Pique.
