Galatasaray will make a loan move for Liverpool striker Divock Origi at the start of 2019, according to a report.

Galatasaray will reportedly make a loan move for Liverpool striker Divock Origi at the start of 2019.

Origi, 23, moved to Merseyside from Lille in 2015 and has scored 21 times in 77 appearances for the Reds.

The centre-forward spent last season on loan at Wolfsburg, however, and has not played a single game for Liverpool this season after falling out of favour at Anfield.

According to Turkish-Football, Galatasaray are closely monitoring developments surrounding the Belgium international's future and are preparing a loan swoop when the January transfer window opens.

Origi, who has one Premier League 2 goal to his name for the Under-23s this season, was strongly linked with a move away from Liverpool during the summer but ultimately remained at Anfield.
