Liverpool send defender Tiago Ilori out on loan to Granada

Liverpool announce that defender Tiago Ilori has joined Granada on loan until the end of the season.

Liverpool have announced that defender Tiago Ilori has joined Granada on loan until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old moved to Anfield on transfer deadline day in the summer from Sporting Lisbon B, alongside defender Mamadou Sakho, who made the switch from Paris Saint-Germain.

Despite the player having spent just five months at the club, Liverpool have opted to send him to La Liga on loan in search of more regular playing time.

Ilori, who has featured for the Under-21s, is yet to make a first-team appearance for Liverpool.
