Sporting Lisbon have reportedly confirmed that they are interested in taking Liverpool youngster Tiago Ilori on loan in January.
Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is said to be willing to allow the Portugal Under-21 international to return to his former club to gain first-team experience.
"We have decided to study this subject but it depends on the Reds and formally we have not received any communication," a Sporting Lisbon source told Sky Sports News.
Ilori joined Liverpool in a deal worth £7m over the summer, but is yet to make a senior appearance for the Premier League outfit.
