Inter Milan are allegedly planning to table a £10m bid for Liverpool striker Fabio Borini in January.
The forward rejected moves to Sunderland and Queens Park Rangers during the summer transfer window but could return to his homeland in the new year, The Express reports.
Inter are said to have been unwilling to move for Borini in the summer due to a lack of funds, but could offload Fredy Guarin or Zdravko Kuzmanovic to bankroll the transfer.
Borini is likely to struggle to make the Liverpool team this season following the arrival of strikers Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert.
