Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp urges the Merseyside club to make three new signings this summer, according to a report.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has reportedly urged the Merseyside club to make three new signings during this summer's transfer window.

The Reds were unable to successfully defend their Premier League title last season but a strong end to the campaign saw them claim third position behind Manchester City and Manchester United.

According to Fichajes, Klopp wants three new players to arrive at Anfield in the current market, including Leicester City's Youri Tielemans, who starred for the Foxes last term.

The report claims that Lille's Renato Sanches is also a target, with the midfielder reigniting his career following a difficult loan spell in the Premier League with Swansea City.

Klopp is also said to be keen for Bayern Munich's Kingsley Coman to arrive ahead of the new season, as the German looks to boost his options in the final third of the field.

Leicester and Bayern are expected to fight hard to keep hold of Tielemans and Coman this summer, but Lille are thought to be willing to sell Sanches for a fee in the region of €25m (£21m).
