Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana has reportedly moved closer to a transfer to Liverpool after being given permission to undergo a medical at Anfield.
Lallana has been strongly linked with a move to Merseyside after an impressive campaign with Southampton earned him an international debut with England, and after the 26-year-old returned from the World Cup, it now appears as though a deal is close to being completed.
After a fee in the region of £25m was agreed for his signature, Lallana has arrived at Liverpool's training ground to be assessed by the club's medical staff, according to Sky Sports News.
Earlier on Friday, Lallana's teammate Luke Shaw secured a £30m switch to Manchester United.
