Liverpool have reportedly made an £8m bid for Inter Milan midfielder Philippe Coutinho.
The 20-year-old Brazilian has struggled to make an impact at the San Siro, making just 15 appearances in all competitions for the Nerazzurri.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers could now bring the youngster to Anfield following a breakdown in talks with Blackpool over a move for Thomas Ince, according to The Telegraph.
Coutinho joined Inter from Vasco da Gama in 2010, but was loaned out to Espanyol for the second half of last season.
