Liverpool are reportedly scouting Porto's teenage striker Fabio Silva as they continue to target Europe's best young talent.

Liverpool have reportedly sent scouts to watch Porto teenager Fabio Silva.

The Reds have recently hired Vitor Masos, a former Porto youth coach, as their new elite development coach, and he is well aware of the youngster's talents.

Liverpool had representatives present during Porto's 3-0 home win over Famalicao, according to Scouts in Attendance, and the 17-year-old came off the bench to score the third late in the second half.

The young striker has yet to break into the first team as a regular starter but has made six substitute appearances across the league and Europa League so far this season.

Given the signings of Harvey Elliott and Sepp van den Berg, it seems as though Liverpool are focusing on recruiting young talent and Porto's young star could be their latest addition.
