Liverpool reportedly seek emergency talks with Luis Suarez over reports that he has met with Real Madrid officials to discuss a potential transfer.

Liverpool are reportedly trying to organise emergency talks with Luis Suarez following claims that the striker has held discussions with Real Madrid.

The Uruguay international, who has been on duty for the national team at the Confederations Cup, has made it clear that he would be open to a transfer to the Bernabeu.

Spanish newspaper Marca recently claimed that Suarez had held a secret meeting with Real officials to discuss a potential move, including wage options.

After hearing the reports, it is understood that Liverpool are seeking emergency talks with Suarez over a possible breach of contract, according to The Express.

The Reds are thought to be eyeing £40m for the prolific frontman.
