AS Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar on Liverpool's radar?

Monaco's young midfielder Thomas Lemar is reportedly on Jurgen Klopp's shortlist of summer transfer targets for Liverpool.

Liverpool have reportedly made contact with AS Monaco regarding the availability of Thomas Lemar.

It is believed that the 20-year-old has caught the eye of scouts from the Merseyside outfit during their recent trips to Southern France.

However, L'Equipe claims that the Reds were informed that Monaco are looking to receive a similar fee to the one that took Anthony Martial to Manchester United last summer.

With add-ons, striker Martial may end up costing Liverpool's bitter rivals an estimated £58m.

Presently, Andy Carroll's £35m switch from Newcastle United remains the Anfield-based side's most expensive ever purchase.
