Roma looking to sign Chelsea flop Radamel Falcao?

A report claims that on-loan Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao is wanted by Italian side Roma as a replacement for Edin Dzeko.

Roma are reportedly weighing up a move to sign Radamel Falcao from AS Monaco at the end of the season.

The Colombian striker is said to be seen as an ideal replacement for Edin Dzeko, who has found the net just 13 times this campaign.

According to Italian publication Corriere dello Sport, Roma are interested in signing the 30-year-old - currently on loan at Chelsea - but are concerned by his rumoured £5.45m wage demands.

Falcao is also struggling for fitness, having played only 10 Premier League games for the Blues since joining on loan from Monaco last summer.

Roma have previously been linked with a move for Chelsea full-back Branislav Ivanovic, with talks reported to be at an early stage.
