Radja Nainggolan will reportedly begin contract talks with Roma over the next couple of days.
The 26-year-old officially joined Roma from Cagliari last summer and has drawn the attention of a host of European clubs with some impressive performances.
Liverpool were said to be preparing a more for the Belgian international, who started his career with Piacenza.
According to Sky Sport Italia, however, Roma want to keep the midfielder in Serie A and will soon open contract talks.
It is understood that the player also wants to remain with the Italian club.
