Report: Real Betis, Valencia want Iago Aspas

A report claims that Real Betis and Valencia want to sign Liverpool forward Iago Aspas on loan in January.

Real Betis and Valencia will both reportedly move for Liverpool forward Iago Aspas in January.

The 26-year-old joined the Premier League club from Celta Vigo in the summer, but has failed to score in six league appearances in England.

It is believed that Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is prepared to let the Spaniard leave on loan for failing to impress during the early stages of his Anfield career.

According to reports in Spain, that has alerted both Betis and Valencia, who are in the market for new signings after losing key strikers in the summer.

Aspas scored 12 times for Celta in La Liga last season.
